Commercial Account Handler
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Account Handler to join our client’s expanding team. In this role, you’ll support Account Executives to drive growth through new and existing client relationships, delivering high-quality, reliable service every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and databases to ensure compliance
Follow established procedures for scheme management
Provide support to Account Executives and address client and insurer inquiries
Oversee claims management, working with all parties to achieve the best outcomes for clients
Develop expertise in a wide range of commercial insurance products and employee benefits
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers
Leverage in-depth market knowledge to present effective client solutions
Prepare and present client proposals to market
Adhere to company policies and procedures, participating in meetings and training as required
Advise clients on their insurance needs, ensuring all recommendations meet their demands
Take full responsibility for managing client accounts to deliver outstanding customer service
Opportunities for Growth:
Potential to progress to an Account Executive role
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven insurance experience with a focus on customer service
Cert CII qualification is a plus
Proficient in IT, ideally with experience in SSP
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving skills, reliability, and accountability
