Role: Data Intelligence Lead
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £45,000
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
About Us:
IWS is seeking a skilled Data Visualization & Reporting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in implementing strategies for data management, visualization, and reporting to support our building and estate asset surveys and various business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and customers to capture requirements.
* Develop new reports and dashboards, focusing on automation and efficiency.
* Set up and maintain automated reporting and processes.
* Enhance existing reports and dashboards to optimize functionality.
* Design, develop, and maintain visually engaging dashboards and reports.
* Ensure all reports and dashboards adhere to internal and industry standards.
* Conduct data quality assurance to maintain high accuracy.
* Create end-of-project reports as deliverables for asset surveys.
* Drive output reporting improvements, from conception to creation.
* Use Excel macros and advanced Excel skills to boost operational efficiency.
* Manage and maintain databases with robust change control for IWS Asset Performance products.
* Provide general technology support within the business.
* Collaborate with the operations team to enhance efficiency in scheduling, invoicing, and technology use.
* Support other business activities ad hoc as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
* Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Desired Competencies:
* Advanced MS Excel expertise.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication.
* Experience in FM, construction, or engineering environments is a plus
