Job Description

We're currently partnered with an SME Food and Drink Manufacturer with a global presence. Culture is at the heart of every decision this business makes and with ambitious plans to grow, this isn't a 'job done, bum on seat' kind of Fixed Term Contract.


National Account Manager - Retail - London - Hybrid Contract - upto£65K + car allowance and package


Role:

  • Initially a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract but with the potential to go permanent should the business achieve it's objective.
  • We're looking to recruit a National Account Manager to look after retail customers.
  • Taking complete responsibility for your customer base, you will be fully P&L responsible, with ownership of the JBP process and ambitious targets within a strategic customer base
  • The retailers you'll look after have a big focus on this category right now and see the opportunity. You'll be the kind of National Account Manager who can help realise that opportunity


Leader

  • A classically trained FMCG leader with an enviable CV working in an impressive array of Global Blue Chip Companies
  • Authentic, Ambitious and Transparent, they possess an excellent communication style and have a clear plan that they look to achieve
  • Huge on self development and the development of their team, they put aside weekly development sessions to progress your career


You:

  • This role will suit an experienced National Account Manager who has experience working in branded FMCG environments
  • You will have strong experience looking after Buying relationships with large National Retail customers but this doesn't need to be Grocery!
  • Can demonstrate using JBP's and effective P&L management to drive brand and category growth
  • Must be a real team player and an all round good human. This isn't the business for a lone wolf!
  • Be able to start December/January


Ways of working

  • They're a grown up business and understand people's personal responsibilities, so tonnes of flex to get the job done
  • It's 2 days per week in Central London, with a real community kind of environment
  • This is an office based contract, with hybrid working so travel to the office will be self funded


Remuneration:

  • Up to £65K + bonus, car allowance and BUPA


The business have an impressive array of brands that sit at the more premium end of the category and have experienced an extremely successful few years. They're now looking to build on that success and continue developing profitable, strategic relationships and this hire will look to continue that.
