Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA Office Based

Contract: Full-Time Hours / Permanent

Salary: £47,025 - £57,425 + Discretionary Bonus Scheme

About the Role

We are excited to present a new vacancy for a Group Senior Management Accountant in our finance department! The Group Senior Management Accountant will manage the accounting and reporting duties of the Groups Shared Service cost centers.

The successful candidate will oversee the management accounts, accruals, prepayments as well as producing balance sheet reconciliations. This will include management of the groups intercompany balances and the analysis of movement and changes in the Groups working capital.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the month-end finance close process for the SSC

Coordinate and oversee the planning, consolidation, and production of the group's internal reporting requirements, including supporting draft the monthly board pack for the group.

Lead the review of monthly reporting for the group's SSC cost centres

Ensure balance sheets have been reconciled and reporting is complete.

Take ownership of the SAP transaction analysis for the SSC and support the commercial team in the month end review and close process.

Monitor and maintain the integrity of financial data and ensure consistency across the reporting entity.

Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the month-end close process and reporting activities.

Collaborate with other finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across the organisation.

Candidate Requirements

Essential: Qualified/ Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA)
