Your initial salary will be £23,275. This rises to £30,450 on completion of your probationary period.

Your uniform is provided.
What else do I need to know?
You must live within one hour's travelling time from the station.
There are very early starts and late finishes, so you must be able to travel to and from the station at times when there is no public transport.

- To promote and sell GWR products onboard trains by engaging with customers to ensure they have the journey they deserve.
- To offer a complimentary trolley service for customers travelling in first class
- To sell refreshments to customers travelling in standard class
- To be an ambassador for GWR, following our vision and values to provide the best customer service.
- To adhere to all GWR safety principles, providing the safest possible journey for everyone.
- To maintain a clean, hygienic and pleasant environment
Skills and experience required:
- Customer service experience within a sales background
- Cash handling experience
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work both alone and as part of a team
- Food handling and stock rotation experience desirable
What will I need?
- A passion for providing the best customer experience
- The ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and bank holidays
- To be proactive and able to use your initiative
- To be friendly, cheerful, and approachable
