Job Description
We are currently working on behalf of one of the premier local automotive parts manufacturers in the area who have been the leaders in the industry for a number of years. They are considered the experts in their niche and put customer service and quality at the forefront of everything they do.
With this in mind they are looking for an experienced project manager to join the production team and lead the business in achieving in a variety of project management activities across their site in Birmingham. The business has seen unprecedented growth in the last few years and the business has a great reputation within the sector they operate in. You will be working with the very best within the industry, who strive for fantastic levels of customer service / efficiency and quality.
Roles and Responsibilities of a Project Manager:
Creating and implementing successful project plans using industry recognized software.
Management and reporting of project budget including coordination with procurement team.
Ensure that project and company quality procedures together with business management systems are implemented at all times.
Document project processes for repeatability and auditability
Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time
Receive demands, analyse, forward internally and keep the team informed of the status of current activities.
Resource planning for all ongoing works to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
Skills required to be successful in this Project Manager Role:
Project management experience within the manufacturing and engineering sector.
Experience having led both technical and non technical project.
Hold a PRINCE2 qualification.
Ability to produce financial reports.
Good knowledge of Process systems.
The package for this Project Manager role includes:
Basic Salary of up to £55,000.
Private medical insurance.
Working hours of Monday – Friday.
25 days Annual Leave.
Company Pension Scheme.
Life Assurance.
