Job Description
Verve People are an agency who hire staff on behalf of our clients, you may not be guaranteed shifts each week, however we are currently hiring to full active shifts each week in the Chester and the surrounding area.
Job Summary: As a Chef De Partie, you will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dishes while maintaining cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards.
Section Management: Manage a specific kitchen section (e.g., grill, pastry, or sauce) and supervise junior staff in that area.
Quality Control: Ensure all food items meet the clients quality and presentation standards before serving.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Sous Chef and other team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work space.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
