Commercial Refrigeration Engineer

I’m working with a growing provider of commercial refrigeration solutions. They are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join their team. The role involves maintaining and repairing systems such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and chillers, while delivering top-notch customer service.

The Role:

As a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer, you will:

• Attend reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) calls to repair and maintain refrigeration systems on customer sites.
• Handle repairs on Commercial Refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and chillers.
• Keep regular communication with the Operations Team regarding job updates.
• Manage vehicle stock, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in an on-call rota to provide support outside normal working hours.

Requirements:

• F-Gas Certification (mandatory).
• C&G (City & Guilds) electrical qualifications or relevant experience.
• Strong experience with walk-in coolers, freezers, and chillers.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• A stable work history and excellent technical skills.
• Willingness to develop new skills and qualifications.
• CO2 systems qualification (preferred but not essential).
