Application Support Analyst (FCS48)
Contract: Fixed term contract until 31 March 2025, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £34,771 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: Manchester (The role will be based at the office base listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
The IT department has a vacancy for a temporary Application Support Analyst in the Business Systems team. The analyst will provide second-line support for our core business systems and deliver change projects.
Candidates who have not previously completed the LPAT aptitude test will be required to complete the test, which will determine if they are invited to interview.
The successful candidate will predominantly build and maintain programmes on the Grantium grants management system.

- experience working in an organisation responsible for grant making, and therefore know about the grant making life-cycle
- experience of querying and manipulating data in relational databases, in particular, Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
- an understanding of forms-based web applications and experience configuring forms for capturing data
- demonstrate a willingness and aptitude to learn new technologies as the need arises
