AOG Freight Operator

YOUR ROLE

Our Bollore AOG team based in London Heathrow have an exciting opportunity for a practiced AOG freight Operator where you will support with end-to-end air freight operational activities, ensuring work is completed efficiently and effectively.

This pivotal role will see you working a 4on 4off 12-hour shift from 7am to 7pm therefore flexibility is required.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the AOG Manager you will work across a diverse team you will focus on:

• Arranging collections on dedicated movements.
• Book all shipments with approved suppliers.
• Update customers with shipment details.
• Complete all customs and MAWB documentation.
• Support with end-to-end import operational activities.
• Prepare costing and invoicing as and when required.
• Shift handover, adhering to rules and regulations.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Proven air freight experience, ideally within a similar role.
• Previous experience of working within an air freight operation.
• Proven AOG experience would be desirable.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• IT Literate experience in using MS packages.
• Proven experience of Cargowise would be desirable.
• Natural problem-solving skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Team Player.

Due to the nature of the role and customer security clearance it is essential for the successful candidate to have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
