Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day activities of a construction project, ensuring it runs smoothly and achieves its objectives within the agreed timeframe, budget, and quality standards. The role involves project setup, programme and procurement strategies, leading the site management team to coordinate subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance requirements. The Senior Project Manager deputises for the Project Director when required and supports them in delivering overall project strategy and client satisfaction.
If you have managed schemes that are on/adjacent to any railway lines (Network rail/TFL) this would be a huge advantage.
The Project:
Ardmore has been awarded the £75m contract for the main works on its Hackney Yards residential development around Hackney Wick railway station.
The new blocks are split across three sites around Hackney Wick station and include over-station elements. Rising to eight stories, the brick-clad blocks will provide 190 mixed-tenure affordable units, 31 of which will be affordable rent and 159 units available for shared ownership.

* Cost Management/Commercial Awareness.
* Subcontractor Procurement & Coordination.
* Design and Technical Coordination.
* Health & Safety.
* Team Leadership and Development.
* Project Handover.
We’re Looking For:
* NVQ Level 7 in Construction/Construction Degree or MSc in Construction Management / Project Management.
* Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations, health and safety standards, and JCT contracts.
* Demonstrable Experience within one or more of the various construction sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use projects and cut & carve.
* Demonstrable experience in leading multiple packages of significant value across various elements of the build process i.e Civils, Internal, External, Façade, M&E.
* Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team and manage multiple work streams.
