Job Description

JOB PURPOSEThe MICE Sales Account Manager is the direct, day-to-day contact for all MICE Group sales and Charter sales programs. This individual is responsible for quoting MICE groups, working with Revenue and Deployment, seeking out and securing new group and charter business, as well as maintaining current customer relationships. This role works hand in hand with the MICE & Charter Sales Director to plan, develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales goals and deliver flawless execution of incentive programs throughout the life of the group/charter.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESActs as a point of contact for incentive houses, corporate directs and brokers in the US.Books Corporate and Incentive groups as well as any other group which falls within the MICE department via the Group booking tool or by requesting pricing through RM USA.Resolves problems and provides timely and professional follow-upServes as liaison between the client and internal teams to properly provide requested pricing and information.Escorts day visits, site sailings with clients and corporate programs and charters as needed.Helps facilitate special requests by working with the appropriate department heads.Tracks payments and invoices for Group and Charter ProgramsCoordinates fulfilment of collateral requests for trade shows and eventsRepresents the company at trade shows and industry events as necessaryDistributes marketing materials and digital assets to Incentive Houses when made available and upon requestActs as a liaison between internal departments ensuring prompt turnaroundsManages and tracks MICE marketing budgets. Assist with other responsibilities, as needed.QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)Fluent in English. Any additional language is considered an advantageBachelor's Degree or equivalent education preferredMinimum 5 years experience in sales and service support role, or other commercial areas in the travel/tourism segment with solid track record in the industryPosition is currently remote, but candidate must reside in South Florida area in order to commute and attend any required in-office meetings, as needed.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; Proficient computer, technical and troubleshooting skills.
