Laboratory Technician

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Experienced Laboratory technician in Bridgwater, TA6 4RN

Your pay rate as a full time Laboratory technician:

You will be paid £11.42 per hour

Typical working hours as a full time Laboratory technician:

You will be working on the Day shift from 06:00 until 18:00 4on4off shift pattern

Your role as a Laboratory technician:

• Oversee housekeeping, ensuring readiness for work
• Support with sample/benchmark shopping if required
• Stock consumables, follow cleaning schedules, and comply with audit standards
• Perform equipment calibrations, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintain paperwork
• Manage ingredient stocks, packaging, equipment, and request samples as needed
• Support the Lab team with sample preparation, production sample retrieval, and testing
• Handle daily dispatches, raw material receipt, and assist with sensory testing
• Manage production material assessments and act as a Health and Safety advocate

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a laboratory format
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a food/drink manufacturing environment
