Were currently recruiting for an Operations Controller based in Goole in the UK, to manage transport flows to the Republic of Ireland & warehousing requirements in Dublin.

Pay, benefits and more:

Were looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Youll have access to a variety of high street discounts as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What youll do on a typical day:

• Ensure our transport provider has booked collections and deliveries from UK manufacturing locations for delivery to Dublin
• Ensure these collections and deliveries are made each day as required and update within our Transport Management System
• Ensure that all brokerage activities are running smoothly, and co-ordinate with hauliers and the factories if required
• Oversee the 3PL warehousing operation in Dublin
• Manage our warehousing partner in key metrics such as receipt on day, putaway, picking, loading and stock accuracy
• Ensure transport flows from our warehouse partner to our customer are booked and move on time each day (circa 4 loads per day)
• Monitor outbound flows from our customer to delivery points in Southern Ireland
• Produce weekly KPIs for each of the associated movement and storage flows associated with Ireland
• Engage with production teams, hauliers, and warehousing partner to ensure the seamless flow of stock from the production line, to storage in Dublin
• Visit our partners in Dublin at least once a month to conduct warehouse audits and monitor compliance and quality

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Essential: Its important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet
• Essential: DLx WMS experience
• Essential: Passport for travel to Dublin once a month for 2-3 days.
• Essential: Driving licence for travel around Dublin

• Desirable: Understanding of overseas movements
• Desirable: Understanding of basic transport operations
• Desirable: An eye for detail to manage haulier and warehouse partners to ensure all product flows are achieved seamlessly
