We are seeking a visionary and strategic Technical Solutions Director to work alongside the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to guide the technological direction of our client's company and Their products.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions for the manufacturing, processing, logistics, or supply chain industries, with expertise in areas such as supply chain management, warehouse management systems (WMS), CRM systems, financial systems, and HR solutions.
This role will be pivotal in shaping the company's technology strategy, ensuring their products meet the needs of current and future clients, and having a long-term impact on the industry over the next 5-10 years.
The Technical Solutions Director will play a key role in driving blue-sky thinking and developing solutions that are not only relevant today but are forward-looking, scalable, and adaptable to future industry developments and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Innovation: Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-level technology solutions, including systems such as CRM systems, WMS, financial systems, HR platforms, and other software products. Ensure that solutions are scalable, flexible, and future-proof, and are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Strategic Leadership: Work alongside the CTO to define the company's long-term technical vision, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and market opportunities. Drive the technical direction of the organisation's product suite, anticipating customer needs in the manufacturing, logistics, and processing sectors.
- Customer-Centric Vision: Take a holistic approach to understanding customer requirements across various sectors, ensuring that solutions not only address current needs but are adaptable to future trends in technology, regulatory changes, and market demands. Proactively identify new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Industry Trends & Market Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends in manufacturing, logistics, and processing industries, including emerging technologies like IoT, AI, automation, and cloud computing. Guide the team to leverage these trends and incorporate them into solutions that meet long-term customer needs and industry demands.
- Future-Proof Product Roadmap: Play a key role in developing the company's product roadmap with a focus on long-term viability. Ensure that the company's products evolve in line with changing customer needs and future technological advancements, while maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and architecting enterprise-level solutions, these must be within the manufacturing, processing, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain sector. A proven track record of delivering successful large-scale solutions, including CRM systems, WMS, financial systems, or HR platforms.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with hands-on experience in solution architecture, system design, and enterprise integration. Expertise in designing scalable, robust, and future-proof systems, with a deep understanding of industry-specific needs and technologies.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the challenges, trends, and technologies shaping the manufacturing, logistics, and processing industries. Familiarity with the complexities of supply chain management, warehouse management, and manufacturing processes.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically and contribute to long-term planning. Experience in developing technology roadmaps and aligning product development with the company's vision and market needs.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in mentoring and guiding technical teams.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative, solution-oriented mindset. Ability to innovate and think outside the box while keeping customer needs and industry trends at the forefront.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing.
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as ISO or other regulatory frameworks related to manufacturing or logistics.
