Job Description
Job Title: Learning Support Officer (SEN School)
Location: Near Caerphilly
Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 (Part-time or Full-time)
We’re looking for a patient and compassionate Learning Support Officer to join our team at a supportive SEN school near Caerphilly. Working closely with teachers, you’ll provide essential assistance to students with special educational needs, helping them grow and achieve in a safe, nurturing environment.
What we're looking for:
A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
Patience, compassion, and a positive approach to supporting students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant experience working in an SEN environment is desirable, though not essential.
A flexible, proactive attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of each student and the school.
Key Requirements:
Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience in SEN settings is a plus
Enahnced DBS on the Update Service (Teaching Personnel can help you obtain this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
