Job Description
The Kingsley Schoolis seeking to appoint a temporary Teaching Assistant from February 2025 to work in the school's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Some of the main duties of the role include:
- to provide support for our youngest pupils in the EYFS, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils in the EYFS
- to encourage pupils to become independent learners
- to ensure their safety and welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life.
- to work as part of a team of early years educators delivering the highest quality of care and education
- to contribute to the provision and maintenance of a healthy, stimulating, safe, enabling and aesthetically pleasing learning environment.
It is an essential requirement for the applicant to have anEarly Years Practitioner qualification.
Hours: 21hours per week (3 full days working from8am 4pm) term time only plus INSET days.
