Whats the role?

Were looking for anAssistant Store Managerto join our team inYeovil. Reporting directly to theStore Manager, youll be a key part of theretail management team, ensuring smooth daily operations. AsDuty Manager, youll take full responsibility for the store in the absence of theDeputy or Store Manager. Youll lead from the front, managing everything fromrecruitment,stock control, andstore standardsto driving sales and ensuring exceptionalcustomer service.

Your role will include:

  • Overseeing store operations when theStore ManagerorDeputy Manageris unavailable.
  • Maximising salesand driving performance to achieve key KPIs.
  • Leading and inspiring your team to ensure a fun, customer-focused environment.
  • Maintaining high standards across the store, ensuring its a great place to shop and work.
  • Collaborating with the management team to create a seamlessretail experience.

Well provide you withindustry-leading training, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to deliver top-tier service and care for our customers and their pets.

Who are we looking for?

  • Youll have at least6 monthsofhands-on supervisory/management experiencein aretail environment.
  • Passionate aboutretailwith a track record of delivering great results and high standards.
  • Flexible to work a7-day shift pattern, including weekends.
  • A strongteam playerwith excellent communication skills, able to engage and motivate your team.
  • Ready to take on6 months of training, covering everything fromcustomer serviceandhealth & safetyto caring for pets.
