Our Client

Our client is a family-run butcher shop, now part of a larger food wholesaler with a long-standing tradition of providing high-quality meats and exceptional customer service.

The shop is known for its friendly atmosphere and commitment to excellence. They are looking for a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join the team and help them to supply their customers both retail and wholesale.

A full-block test will be required as part of the interview process.

Working days: 6 days per week; 44.5 hours per week

• Monday: 06:30 - 13:00
• Tuesday: 06:30 - 15:00
• Wednesday: 06:30 - 13:00
• Thursday: 06:00 - 15:00
• Friday: 06:00 - 15:00
• Saturday: 06:00 - 14:00

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cut various types of meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry.
• Ensure all products are prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Occasional work in the shop.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

• Proven 3 years' experience as a Butcher.
• Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
