The Opportunity
This role is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, where you will work alongside mental health nurses, consultant psychiatrists, therapists, and psychologists. With the support of a senior Occupational Therapist and therapy assistants, you will deliver high-quality care to individuals across acute and specialist care wards.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide Occupational Therapy services to acute wards, focusing on patients with complex needs, including conducting Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments.
* Mentor and guide therapy assistants to ensure effective and consistent patient care.
* Dedicate one day per week to a specialist care service, supporting individuals with autism and OCD through tailored therapeutic groups and interventions.
* Assess, plan, and implement individualised treatment plans that enhance patient recovery and engagement.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Desirable:
* Significant experience in a clinical Occupational Therapy role, ideally in an NHS or similar healthcare setting.
* Strong understanding of behavioural health and experience working with diverse adult patient groups.
