Job Opportunity: Financial Controller
Location: Based at Bridgwater office with travel to additional office locations as needed
Reports to: CFO
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements in line with accounting standards
Manage cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting to ensure financial stability
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as VAT and tax filings, maintaining accurate records
Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favourable terms
Lead and develop the finance team, promoting high performance and professional growth
Coordinate with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process
Serve as a primary point of contact on financial matters for internal and external stakeholdersRequirements
ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification (or equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules (preferred)
Flexibility to travel between office locations as requiredINDCP
