Construction Mechanical Project Manager - Glasgow
£60,000 - £70,000 + Excellent Benefits
Starting December 2024/January 2025
First People Solutions are excited to be partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking M&E contractor based in Glasgow, who work on various construction and fit out projects and are looking to recruit a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company that specializes in delivering high-quality M&E solutions across a range of sectors including working on new build schools, retail projects and various commercial builds.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the delivery of mechanical projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure effective management of all aspects of the project.
Manage and lead a team of engineers and site staff, ensuring all project activities comply with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement and efficient project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
About You:
A strong background in Project Management with an M&E contractor - (Construction & Fit out)
Experience in managing medium to large-scale mechanical projects, ideally within sectors such as commercial, industrial, or construction.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or project management (e.g., HNC, HND, Degree, or PMP/APM certifications) are preferred.
