Hours:

• Monday to Friday 7.30am until 9.00am and/ or just 3.00pm until 6.00pm during the Term.

Job Types:Full-time (22.5 per week) Part Time (15/16 per week)

Salary:£12.03-£14.03 per hour

Purpose of Role

We are partnered with a company who are looking to bring on qualified playworkers to be an integral part of their childcare team in their out-of-school club. Based out of Bradshaw Hall, Cheadle, the role will involve providing wrap-around care on a day-to-day basis, engaging children aged 3-11, and providing a high level of customer service to children, parents, and carers.

Key Responsibilities

• To plan, deliver, engage and evaluate sessions and activities for children aged 3-11
• To work collaboratively with the Out of School Club Manager and colleagues to provide a high level of customer service to children, parents, and carers
• Liaise and communicate with the organisations partner school to ensure customer satisfaction.
• To be committed to safeguarding children, following all Company policies and procedures to keep children safe.
• To perform any other duties as required for the benefit and running of the organisation.

Education, Qualifications and Training

• Level 2 qualification in Childcare or experience within a similar role
• Paediatric First Aid Trained (or willing to attend training before appointment)
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification (or willing to attend training before appointment)
• Designated Safeguarding Lead Qualification (or willing to attend training before appointment)
