The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Stock Controller / Buyer to join our client in Wigan
Our client is a manufacturing business who has experienced growth over the last few years, you will join a small but busy team responsible for the inventory and buying of raw materials.
Hours of work:
Salary:
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per annum ( DOE)
20 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays.
About the Role:
Join our team as a Buyer/Stock Controller where you will be an integral part of a thriving business. You will play a crucial role in managing and controlling the sourcing and company's inventory, ensuring efficient stock levels and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching, sourcing, and purchasing quality products and materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of stock.
- Experience with MRP and stock replenishment systems.
- Liaise with internal teams to understand procurement needs and optimise costs.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, identifying areas for cost savings andefficiency.
- Monitor and analyse stock performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Excel and general Microsoft Office programmes.
- Ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision and guidance.
Skills / Experience:
- Excellent Team Player and Good Communication Skills
- 3 years experience in procurement or inventory roles.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
