Job Description
We are working with a Medium Sized Freight Forwarder who are looking for 2 x Import Freight Forwarders.
1 role hours are Sunday to Wednesday - working either 8am to 6pm or 7am to 5pm salary with shift £30K + £2K shift allowance total £32K.
1 role is Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm and salary £30K
The role is to provide excellent customer service to customers, including clearances, quotes, arranging shipments/deliveries, invoicing. Any export knowledge advantage as will be a little export.
Role Involves:
Start to finish Imports.
Follow strict and time sensitive SOPs/KPIs to ensure compliance.
Work closely with internal and external customers.
Provide good customer service
Ensure invoicing, job costings, CIA are all updated
Customs Entries on CDS
Cost Control
Ensure all reports including internal and customer specific are completed within the deadlines.
Resolve queries from customers and suppliers.
Work closely with the Operations Manager for Internal and external rates reviews.
Remain in contact with customers and suppliers to maintain relationship.
Experience needed.
Import starts to finish experience
Proven operational experience
Proven customer service experience
Good IT skills
Any knowledge of Export Air, Sea Road operations. Advantage
Problem solving skills
Ability to action SOPs.
Flexible approach to workload and hours.
Salary depends on experience
