Position: Site Manager
Contract Type: Temporary or Permanent (up to December 2025)
Start Date: 1st December 2024 (preferred)
Salary: Competitive, DOE
We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a renowned, award-winning construction and regeneration company with a strong reputation for excellence in urban and residential projects. The company is looking for a skilled Site Manager to join their team on a unique, high-profile new-build project.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a traditional-build, 2-storey apartment block with 39 units, designed for later living. Under the guidance of an established Project Manager, this Site Manager will oversee both groundworks and new-build stages, ensuring the project meets high standards for quality, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage groundworks (including utilities and landscaping) as well as the new-build phases of the project.
Enforce and maintain health and safety (H&S) protocols on-site.
Ensure quality assurance (QA) and maintain accurate record-keeping.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for smooth project progress.
Monitor and report project milestones, addressing any issues promptly.
Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure consistent communication and alignment on project goals. Essential Requirements
Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications.
Experience: Proven track record as a Site Manager on groundworks and new-build projects.
Skills: Familiarity with traditional construction methods and multi-unit residential projects; strong organizational and communication abilities; comprehensive knowledge of H&S regulations. Why Apply?
