Maintenance Engineer, Lichfield, £47,125pa + bonus & benefits
Purpose
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued efficient and safe running of production machinery, as well as undertaking general maintenance across the site. Working rotating day and night shifts, you’ll cover reactive maintenance while on days and oversee the preventative jobs when on nights.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will:
Work on planned preventative and reactive maintenance of production machinery across the site.
Working to improve plant efficiency and performance.
Providing technical engineering support to the manufacturing team
Coordinating maintenance activities with your teammates, ensuring all safety and site policies are met.
Completion and communication of reporting and tracking documentation.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will:
Be experienced undertaking maintenance on a range of electro-mechanical systems.
Have familiarity with manufacturing machinery as well as general site maintenance.
Have demonstrable experience organising Planned Preventitive Maintenance schedules and service records.
Be comfortable managing concurrent and competing priorities.
Understanding of electrical and mechanical safety systems.
An understanding of health and safety documentation, including food safety.
Completion of relevant Engineering Qualification (eg NVQ / HND).
