Job Description
Purpose
Responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines
Essential Duties
Setting and Operating CNC Milling Machines using Fanuc/Haas controls.
Producing high complexity components from a range of materials.
Adhering to Quality/Environmental standards(ISO9001/14001:2015)
Ensuring performance of part production to planned set and run times and quality requirements.
Recording and assisting the Manufacturing Group Leader in improving the 5S organisation of the assigned team areas and personal responsibility of machines being operated
Responsible for ensuring correct materials, drawing are used to produce components.
Setting up tools, offsets and be able to change the programRequirements
2 Years minimum experience in Setting and Operating CNC Milling Machines
Experience of working with high complexity components from a range of various materials
Good knowledge of 4 and 5 Axis Machines.
Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and reading Engineering drawings
Good working knowledge of component dimensions using various inspection equipment - including but not limited to Micrometres, Vernier's and Plug Gauges.
Ability to produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately as required by customer specification.
Strong level of literacy and record keeping
