Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a career-minded individual to join our Camberley team as an Electrical and Mechanical Technician, your role will be to perform a range of assigned front-line maintenance/operational activities on our sewage pumping stations in Camberley Surrey. This will include planned and preventative maintenance of sewage pumping stations to support the operation of our assets.
On a day-to-day basis, you will receive your “workload” and will also be answering emergency alarms. You will be working as part of a team but may also be alone which highlights the importance of our high health and safety standards.
The role also requires you to take part in a 1 week in every 6 weeks out of hours emergency standby rota, for which you receive additional payments.
Base Location - Camberley - GU15 3YL.
38 hours per week Monday-Friday.7:30 am -3:36 pm.
What you should bring to the role
ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering.
A valid driving license is essential.
Having previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, with an 18th Edition qualification beneficial.
Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues are crucial.
Be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems ideally working in a “true multi-skilled” capacity.

Take Ownership of responding quickly to faults, being curious to fully understand the problem, and identifying the best solution to resolve it the first time.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to interact with the team.
Teamwork – We are one team, and our end goals are the same.
Proactive – take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site and communicate effectively.
Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures.
Knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards
What’s in it for you?
Offering base salary up to £39,000 per annum plus standby & overtime opportunity increasing earning by potential £8,000 - £10,000.
24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
