Job Opportunity: Resident Engineer – Material Handling Equipment
Location: Ipswich, UK
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join our clients site team, working primarily on site in Ipswich with occasional travel across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic company committed to delivering exceptional service and technical expertise.
The Role;
Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a range of material handling equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Provide exceptional customer service while working at client sites.
Maintain detailed service records and reports.
Collaborate with a supportive team of engineers. Ideal Candidate;
Qualifications: Industry specific qualification or time-served experience.
Experience: Previous experience with material handling equipment, plant machinery, or similar.
Skills: Proficiency in diagnostics, fault finding, and technical problem-solving.

Frequent opportunity for overtime at enhanced pay rate.
