Role Summary



The Manager, Patient Scheduling and Logistics (PSL) Operations will implement initiatives for the PSL function to deliver strategies and goals which enable clinical study, commercial delivery and growth targets.



Success in this role will require considerable Leadership Team interaction and initiative to capture and manage the workstreams enabling the strategies and goals so that resourcing and delivery is enabled and effective.



The Manager, Patient Scheduling and Logistics Operations will collaborate with team members and key stakeholders to achieve objectives in addition to functioning as part of the Patient, Cell and Logistics Management (PCLM) team within the Product Delivery Organisation.



Learning the operations of the PSL function the role incumbent will also undertake a training schedule to enable the role of Manager, Patient Scheduling & Logistics to be adopted for European market expansion and against goals set to meet team growth needs.





Key Responsibilities




  • Implement key Patient Scheduling and Logistics initiatives to realize Autolus clinical and commercial growth goals.

  • Develop and utilize tools for effective delivery management and the check points and milestones to ensure progression to target.

  • Design and deliver a communication plan for initiatives to connect to key stakeholders internally and externally to Autolus (vendors/providers).

  • Proactively identify potential issues/risks and recommend/implement solutions.

  • Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, projects and project managers including vendors, to communicate detailed timelines and ensure resource and performance expectations are met.

  • Oversee/lead initiatives which have been identified to continuously refine and improve the cell journey process, operations and systems.

  • Participate and/or lead initiatives which have been identified to continuously refine and improve the cell journey experience and operations which may include the development, review and implementation of departmental processes, tools or documentation.

  • Assist peers and colleagues in understanding, supporting and executing cell journey processes.

  • Crosstrain to manage patient cell journeys in both the clinical trial and commercial settings, developing expertise in the tools and systems employed.

Experience




  • Breadth of experience in clinical/commercial CAR-T services (E).

  • Experience delivering complex time bound initiatives

  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to achieve results (E).

  • Experience in GxP and quality management processes (P).



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or related field (E).

  • A minimum 3 years (Manager) of experience in healthcare operations and/or CAR-T manufacturing (E)
