Clinical Lead Nurse
Salary - £46,000 - £48,300 per annum
Location - Blackburn
Hours - Permanent - Full Time or Part Time hours available
Shift Pattern - Days only, Nights only or mixed shifts available
Summary
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. Together we are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) or an experienced Registered learning Disabilities Nurse ( RNLD ) or an experienced Registered general Nurse ( RGN ) to work in a four-bedded child and adolescent inpatient service based in Blackburn. The children within the service will have high acuity needs, such as self-harm, challenging behaviours and a wide range of mental health needs.
As a Clinical Lead Nurse - Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) or a Registered learning Disabilities Nurse ( RNLD ) or a experienced Registered general Nurse ( RGN ) you will ensure 8 - 17 year olds in this service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. You will be responsible for managing the night shift and supervising the other members of staff on shift at the time.
Requirements
A relevant nursing qualification ( RMN ) or ( RNLD ) or ( RGN )
A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
A minimum of 18 months of CAMHS or mental health experience as a nurse, in the UK
Strong team-working skills
Prior experience, managing and leading a team
A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
