Finance Business Partner

A public sector organisation is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
In this role you will provide financial advice to your allocated area, supporting the successful delivery of value for money services. You will give strategic support to budget holders and senior management, proactively engaging with areas to understand strategic direction, priorities and deliverables. You will also prepare reports for monthly financial position.

The role is responsible for the line management of one Assistant Finance Business Partner.


What you'll need to succeed

• CCAB qualified accountant
• Demonstrable experience working as a Finance Business Partner
• Extensive experience in building and monitoring of complex budgets
• Right to work in the UK
• Desirable; public sector experience, project experience, closing of accounts, security clearance

What you'll get in return

• Salary range: £57,000 - £64,000
• Local Government Pension Scheme
• Hybrid working: 3 days per week from the office in City of London
• 24 days annual leave + bank holidays
