Up to £12.01 per hour, depending on experience

Keeping our Hospitals clean is a big priority for us. We are looking for a Housekeeper, who will help us to create a safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, getting the best from cleaning products and, using equipment (training provided where needed). You will take pride in your work and undertake a variety of general responsibilities ranging from removing waste, to checking stock and updating records on the computer. To help us build a healthier nation as a Housekeeping Assistant at our Warwickshire Hospital.
As a Housekeeper, you will:
Care about our patients, so that you can organise your own work and plan your time to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a patients' experience.
Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills. This will come in handy when you are working in a team with your colleagues and also when you are interacting with our patients.
Motivated, friendly and flexible
Experience in a similar role, you will be well organised and will ensure that cleaning products are used effectively, and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients.
Infection prevention and control compliances, reporting incidents to the relevant team members.
Clean and prepare the areas of responsibility following the required policies and procedures, ensuring that the location is clean, tidy, pleasant and safe for our patients.
Ensure that appropriate cleaning products are used effectively and that health, safety and infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times.
Display Nuffield Health Brand Values at all times including when interacting with patients and customers
Correctly and safely prepare, use, clean and store equipment, tools and materials
Make full and proper use of any protective or safety equipment provided
Reports any incidents which have led, or might have led to infection, following the required local incident reporting / recording procedure for infection prevention and control
To provide general assistance and support as part of a team.
The shift patterns will be flexible over a working week Monday to Sunday.
