What you will do:

As the Head of Architecture, a key leadership role, you will shape long-term architectural standards and drive cross-functional alignment to elevate our technical vision. You will directly report to the Platform Engineering Director, collaborating closely with DevOps, Quality, Security, Enterprise Architecture, and the CTO office.

  • Lead, Mentor, and Develop the Architecture Team: Inspire a team of skilled architects to uphold technical coherence, security standards, and collaboration across functions. Foster a culture of excellence and innovation, providing mentorship and development to build a strong pipeline of future architectural leaders.
  • Define & Implement Technical Strategy: Craft & Execute a Scalable Technical Strategy across software, cloud, and data architectures, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. Advocate for the best technology solutions, whether building in-house or leveraging external services.
  • Support Data Architecture Initiatives: Collaborate with data teams to ensure our architecture supports data lake and warehouse solutions, driving data governance and supporting analytics capabilities across the organization.
  • Champion Enterprise Architecture Practices: Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles to support scalability, security, and data integrity across the platform.
  • Collaborate Transversally Across Teams: Work closely with stakeholders in Product, Data Science, DevOps, and Engineering to align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring cross-departmental alignment and high-impact outcomes.
  • Foster a Culture of Innovation & Quality: Lead by example to promote a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, supporting continual learning and improvement within the team.
  • Animate transversal teams: Animate and facilitate transversal initiatives and communities/guilds.

Who you are:

You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience in Architecture: Significant expertise in software, cloud, or data architecture, including hands-on work in enterprise-level architectural design and implementation.
  • Proven Leadership Skills: Strong track record (5+ years) in managing technical teams, with a focus on mentoring, growth, and developing future leaders.
  • In-depth Cloud Knowledge: Deep familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), enterprise architecture frameworks, and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Data Architecture Proficiency: Skilled in data architecture and integration patterns, with experience in designing scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders to achieve aligned goals.
  • Agile Expertise: Solid understanding of agile methodologies, with the flexibility to manage multi-team projects and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Bilingual Communication Skills: Fluent in both French and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Strategic and Solution-Oriented: A proactive problem-solver who can balance immediate needs with long-term objectives.
