We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Off track - Team Leader to join our dynamic AIW/CVL team at Pontypridd – onsite working role, 40 hrs per week.


In this role, you will support the off-track team supervisor primarily out on site to lead the team ensuring all maintenance/reactive work is carried out - adhering to the relevant industry off-track standards.


This role offers you the unique opportunity to work with the main Infrastructure maintainer for the newly transformed metro project within Core Valley Lines.


What You’ll Do:



  • Review recent works carried out and forward plan for the rest of the week, including planned maintenance and any reactive works.

  • Ensure all reactive maintenance works are being carried out by the relevant competent individuals and flex any plan if alternative competencies are required.

  • Ensure all direct work bank reports are completed via the appropriate tablet template which interfaces with Maximo.

  • Ensure all plant, vehicles and equipment are fit for use and stored correctly.

  • Interface with other departments to carry out certain asset maintenance i.e. Road rail access points.

  • Identify and propose of any asset renewals based on safety of the infrastructure.
