Forklift Driver

Job Overview:
A skilled Forklift Driver is needed to support a busy food processing facility in Belfast. This role is vital for efficiently transporting raw materials, ingredients, and finished products within the facility while adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate storage, loading, and unloading of goods to maintain an organized, high-quality production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload pallets, performing daily equipment checks and reporting maintenance needs.


• Transfer and organize goods within storage and production areas, assist with inventory checks, and track materials accurately.


• Manage goods from delivery vehicles, transport materials to production lines, and maintain organized storage.


• Follow food safety standards, keep work areas clean, and prevent contamination.


• Complete records related to material movement and report any issues to supervisors.

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift License (counterbalance or reach preferred).


• Experience in food production or warehouse environment.


• Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols, ideally in food processing.


• Ability to lift and maneuver items as required.


• Team-oriented, with good communication skills.
