MOT Tester

Salary up to £36,000 DOE + £5,000 OTE + Birthday off!

My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician to jointheir team in Cannock. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for automotive repair, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

This is a 50/50 role in MOT and vehicle Maintenanceand repair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately, using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients and addressing their needs promptly.
• Contribute to the overall success of the workshop, assisting with general maintenance and repairs as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid MOT Testing License (Class 4 and 7)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience holding a minimum of Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Repair
• Proven track record of successful vehicle diagnostics and repairs
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
