What Were Looking For
Qualifications:
- Registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent recognised body)
Experience:
- Proven leadership experience in clinical settings, with a strong track record in managing complex healthcare services, preferably within the independent sector
- Deep understanding of service redesign, clinical pathways, and system reform
Regulatory Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, industry standards, and NHS contract requirements
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, and compliance with relevant policies
Key Skills:
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Problem-Solving: Strategic thinker with a focus on managing risk, leading quality improvements, and making data-driven decisions

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the clinical services team to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care across the hospital
- Oversee clinical operations, including staffing, training, and professional development of the clinical team
- Drive clinical governance, including incident management, audits, and compliance with policies and regulations
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set and align strategic goals with organisational priorities
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, monitor clinical outcomes, and implement solutions to enhance patient care
- Engage with patients, families, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and drive improvements in service delivery
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while maintaining a consistently high standard of care
