Purchasing Administrator **Please note this is a re-advertisement, if you have applied for this position recently there is no need to re-apply** Location: Craigavon Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with core hours 10:00-16:00 Salary: Competitive Business Unit: Sciences Open To: Internal and External Applicants Ref No.: HRJOB10135/1 The Role Please note that this is now a permanent position The primary function of a Purchasing administrator is to support Almac Sciences in the organisation of all purchase requisitions. Ensuring that orders are placed within an acceptable time frame guaranteeing, deliveries of the required materials across our multiple sites. The successful candidate will be expected to communicate widely with internal departments and suppliers to ensure a smooth service is maintained at all times. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a business purchasing office, is proficient in Microsoft office packages and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Key Requirements Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK To be successful in this role you will need GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and English Language- at grade C or above. Previous experience within a purchasing administration role. It would be desirable for applicants to have 3 A levels Grade A-E (or equivalent), a qualification or previous training within a purchasing related discipline and experience of using a computerised purchasing/inventory system.
