7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

Flexistaff is recruiting for 7.5 tonne driver to work with our client based in Dunstable Woodside Estate.

Monday Friday start 08:00

Job Type: AdHoc

Salary: £15.07 per hour

The correct driver will have 7.5 tonne experience and have 180 days proven work on your tacho card.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driving license (7.5-tonne or above)
- Proven 2 years experience as a 7.5-tonne driver or similar role
- Knowledge of flatbed truck operations is preferred
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
- Good communication skills and customer service-oriented approach
