Car Transporter Driver

Reactive Driving Recruitment is looking for Class 1 drivers to support one of our leading client's who are provider's of vehicle transportation services for car manufactures, vehicle dealerships, auction houses and car leasing companies.

Having successfully been awarded a new OEM contract they're expanding the fleet, therefore they're recruiting experienced car transporter drivers to operate within either an 11 Car Transporter or a Tractor Unit and Voyager 2 7 car trailer.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OF OPERATING A CAR TRANSPORTER IS ESSENTIAL

Main duties will include the collection and delivery of mainly new vehicles from all over the UK.

You will be responsible for inspecting vehicles accurately before loading and obtaining customer signatures upon collection/delivery, so excellent customer services skills are key. You will be required to use our APP to complete vehicle inspections/update our systems etc.

Candidates will require;

Experience of HGV Car Transportation

A valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than 6 points

A valid CPC & Digi Taco card

Must have a minimum of 2 years H.G.V. Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.

Must have own transport to and from base site.

Must be able to wear a full Company uniform

Must be clean and presentable at all times.

Must take care and have pride in their work.

Must give good customer service.

Experience:

HGV Driving: 2 years (required)
previous car transporter: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
Drivers CPC (required)
Class 1 / C+E HGV Driving Licence (required)
