Summary of Duties:
Proficient in English and Korean for effective communication, including interpreting financial reports and corporate documents in both languages. Liaison with South Korean Headquarters by regularly communicating with counterparts at South Korean headquarters, attend monthly meetings, and provide updates. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and models in both English and Korean using advanced Excel skills. Create informative dashboards for senior management. Interpret financial reports and analysis results, presenting clear explanations to senior management in both Korean and English. Collect and analyze financial data, monitor economic trends, and use SQL for data retrieval and manipulation. Develop and execute strategic financial plans and budgets in alignment with organizational objectives. Analyze financial data using Microsoft Dynamics GP, the primary ERP system. Utilize internal systems, including BIMS and GSIS, for inventory and product management. Apply data analysis skills with Python and R, creating compelling visualizations using Power BI and Tableau. Optimize portfolio analysis, asset allocation, and investment strategies using data-driven models. Conduct extensive research on financial market trends, economic conditions, industry developments, trade dynamics, and global financial regulations. Improve financial and product management processes through data analysis, system utilization, and adherence to accounting principles. Ensure compliance with revenue recognition principles and practices for accurate financial reporting. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or foreign equivalent plus 2 years of experience in job offered or any Business Analyst, Accountant, Auditor, or related job titles.
Applicants must have 1 year of experience in the following: (1) Using Microsoft Dynamics GP, the primary ERP system; (2) Synthesizing complex data sets and deriving meaningful insights; (3) Using SAP, Great Plains, or comparable accounting software; (4) Using the Korean language professionally; (5) Using Excel skills, including the creation of informative dashboards, and data analysis capabilities; (6) Using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); and (7) Using relevant software tools, including SQL, Python, R, Excel, etc.
