Job Description
Haag, a Salas O'Brien Company, a leader in forensic engineering and consulting since 1924, is seeking a Product & Communications Specialist in the Flower Mound, TX office. After 90 days, this is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely each week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

SIGNIFICANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Daily operations shall include but are not limited to the following:
- Work under direction of Director of Curriculum in formatting content for Haag Education seminars
- Create monthly marketing plan for distribution to Haag customer database via monthly marketing emails/blog
- Content and record/file maintenance of all seminar presentations
- Final editing and formatting, according to Company branding guidelines, of all classroom and on-line seminar materials by type (i.e.: PowerPoint, handouts, etc.) ensuring consistent formatting and branding amongst all products
- Manage graphic design & manufacturing vendors for timely turn-around and competitive pricing
- Project timeline, budget creation and management
- Publication creation - Design, management of review process and regular updates to management on project progress and budget status
- Liaison to Engineer (SME), outside designer, and printing vendor to create new products unique to our industry
- Lead copyrighter for all education print, digital marketing and technical articles
- Yearly revenue/sales goals
- Product/Tool revenue and expense budget
- Inventory management and product maintenance
- Marketing Plan and implementation
- Creating digital documents
- Administrator for Haag e-commerce platforms (Salesforce B2B)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in communications preferred, or commensurate relevant work experience in project management, editing, copywriting and basic experience with graphic design (Adobe suite)
- Intermediate web design experience (Salesforce or WordPress)
- Proficient PC and typing skills required for use in various applications daily. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel or other spreadsheets
- Adequate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and in Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop
- Intermediate experience in working with an on-demand Learning Management System (LMS/e-learning)
- Project management experience desired
- Ability to work well with others within a busy team environment
- Ability to work occasional long hours, when needed
- Accepts and adjusts to changes in work priorities willingly and efficiently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills for a team-based environment and customer service approach
- Builds and maintains positive and cooperative working relationships
- Must be able to satisfactorily clear background and drug screen requirements.
