Job Description
The Senior Manager of Product will own the product and translate business requirements into well-defined product requirements. This role requires someone who can define and design the product roadmap to achieve the company's business goals by solving complex customer needs, ensuring both product integrity and scalability within a Cloud Native SaaS environment. A critical focus will be on external stakeholder management, driving seamless and scalable digital retail experiences, particularly within the pre-checkout phase, and ensuring solutions are delivered on time and with high quality.

Job Description
The Senior Manager of Product will own the product and translate business requirements into well-defined product requirements. This role requires someone who can define and design the product roadmap to achieve the company's business goals by solving complex customer needs, ensuring both product integrity and scalability within a Cloud Native SaaS environment. A critical focus will be on external stakeholder management, driving seamless and scalable digital retail experiences, particularly within the pre-checkout phase, and ensuring solutions are delivered on time and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape the Product Roadmap for core Cloud Native SaaS products, with a focus on digital retailing and pre-checkout workflows. Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring that the product is scalable and maintains high integrity. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to align features with business and customer goals.
- Lead Product Strategy by working closely with external stakeholders such as clients, partners, and third-party vendors to gather insights, understand market demands, and ensure the product meets the needs of a diverse customer base. Develop cloud-native solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure, driving both business success and long-term product integrity.
- Manage External Relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their feedback is incorporated into the product roadmap. Build strong, collaborative partnerships to ensure alignment on product direction and feature prioritization. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing transparency and regular updates on product progress and changes.
- Ensure Product Integrity & Scalability by prioritizing solutions that maintain the product's quality as it scales. Work with engineering teams to ensure the product can support increased user loads, growing datasets, and complex integrations, while maintaining system reliability and data security.
- Manage Offshore Teams within an Agile methodology, ensuring smooth communication, collaboration, and delivery of features. Oversee sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings to ensure alignment with the product roadmap and business priorities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Coordinate Agile Workflow between onshore and offshore teams, maintaining a smooth flow of communication and ensuring that any timezone differences are accounted for in planning and delivery. Implement best practices to improve cross-team collaboration and product output.
- Ensure Seamless Integration of offshore development teams into the broader product strategy. Build processes that allow for efficient code delivery and quality control while maintaining product integrity at scale in a cloud-native environment.
- Analyze Usage Data & Customer Feedback using cloud-native analytics to identify friction points in the pre-checkout process. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize the customer journey and ensure a seamless transition from browsing to checkout, ultimately driving conversion rates and reducing cart abandonment.
- Drive Product Integrity by ensuring features are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment, with a focus on user experience, performance, and security. Regularly review and enhance product features to maintain a high level of quality and consistency across deployments.
- Define KPIs & Success Metrics that measure the impact of cloud-native features on both product performance and external stakeholder satisfaction. Establish key metrics that guide the team in delivering scalable solutions without sacrificing quality or customer experience.
- Coordinate Cloud-Based Product Releases with Marketing, Sales, Support, and Development teams to ensure the timely and smooth delivery of new features. Focus on delivering products that provide tangible value to external stakeholders, improve the pre-checkout experience, and scale efficiently in a cloud-native environment.
- Study Competitor Cloud-Based Products and services to ensure competitive positioning. Monitor trends in digital retailing and pre-checkout processes, leveraging this knowledge to enhance the scalability and market relevance of your product offerings.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Native SaaS products, with a focus on scalability, product integrity, and seamless external stakeholder engagement. Communicate effectively with colleagues, executives, and external partners to align product goals with business objectives and customer needs.
- Drive End-to-End Strategy for cloud-native digital retail products, focusing on scaling, security, and long-term product integrity. Ensure all solutions align with the company's business objectives and external stakeholder expectations.
- 8+ years of experience in B2B/B2C Cloud Native SaaS Product Management, with a focus on Digital Retailing and e-commerce.
- Proven experience in managing external stakeholder relationships, including clients, partners, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear communication, alignment on product goals, and effective collaboration.
- Experience managing 8-10 direct reports of Product Managers, providing support and guidance to grow their skills, especially in the areas of scalability, stakeholder management, and product integrity.
- Experience managing offshore development teams in an Agile environment, coordinating daily tasks, sprint planning, and managing cross-functional workflows to deliver quality features on time.
- Expertise in Data Analytics and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), leveraging customer behavior data within cloud-native platforms to refine pre-checkout experiences.
- Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), with experience ensuring that cloud-native products are scalable, secure, and offer high availability for digital retail platforms.
- Ability to scale products while maintaining a high level of performance and security, especially in complex digital retail environments.
- Experience in E-commerce & Digital Payment Integrations, ensuring seamless checkout experiences across cloud-native, multi-tenant environments.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a cloud-native environment, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and DevOps to ensure smooth product releases and cloud-based feature integrations.
- Deep understanding of SaaS product design and cloud-native growth strategies, with an emphasis on scaling products to meet growing customer needs without sacrificing quality.
- Proficiency in leveraging Big Data, Machine Learning (ML)/AI, and Internet of Things (IoT) within cloud-native environments to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
- Experience integrating cutting-edge technologies into cloud-native product offerings for digital retail and pre-checkout optimization.
