Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a major Vehicle Manufacturerin the UK who are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer on a permanent basis.

This is a permanent full time vacancy and Monday to Friday on a day shift.

We are looking for Engineers/Technicians/mechanics from a Commercial, HGV, PSV or LGV background who are looking for a field-based role.

You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified Technician that has experience working with a variety of LGV or HGV vehicles.

You will be paid door to door and will be paid at an enhanced rate for any hours over the 45 hours.A company van will be supplied.

ROLE

• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
• MOT preparation, chassis and body repairs, fault diagnosis
• Completion of paperwork and adhering to compliance
• Maintain Health and Safety

Skills & Experience

• Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle maintenance & repair or an equivalent qualification
• Strong customer service skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to work within given time frames
• Ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repair and servicing.
• Diagnostics skills
