At our Bicester location, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the pastry section, contribute to menu development, and work with the high-quality, seasonal ingredients Ottolenghi is known for.

As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry section and ensuring the preparation of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods. You’ll have the opportunity to work with seasonal ingredients, create beautiful dishes, and play a key role in shaping the dessert menu. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has a passion for innovation in pastry.

The Ideal Pastry Chef de Partie will:

• Take full responsibility for the pastry section, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and execute seasonal pastry menus
• Be creative and confident in experimenting with new recipes and techniques
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pastry section, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Support and mentor junior team members to help them grow in their roles
• Be detail-oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional desserts and pastries
