HGV Driver - Belfast

HGV Driver required to work with the Belfast City Council, based in Duncrue Industrial Estate. This position will offer full-time hours working Sunday to Wednesday 7.30am until 3.30pm and Thursday 7.30am until 3pm. The hourly rate is £13.24 with enhanced rates on Sunday at £26.48. Initially the role is on a temporary basis for 3 months with the possibility of an extension based on performance. The main duties will include removing and transporting waste to the designated disposal sites, segregating waste to specified areas, carrying out priority cleansing duties such as street washing, graffiti removals, performing regular vehicle checks, adhering to health and safety regulations whilst driving, planning routes ahead of time to ensure smooth operations, transporting colleagues to relevant sites and filling relevant paperwork daily.
