Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor £30,000 - £32,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Early Finish Friday Belfast Do you have previous warehouse experience and are looking to further your career? Maybe you're currently in a Team Lead position and want to take that next step into a Supervisor position? As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be overseeing a small team of operatives and co-ordinating the warehouse & transport functions to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the shift including; Goods In/Out, Material Handling & Delegation of Workload. Ensuring site Security and Health & Safety protocols are adhered to, will be a top priority. The company are specialists within the metal stockholding world and with sites across the UK, are now looking to expand their workforce with the addition of a Warehouse Supervisor. As you will be joining a small team, personality will be key to your success and as this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established industry leader, we are specifically looking for people who want to grow with the company. The Role: Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring clear delegation of tasks, providing ongoing coaching, and conducting regular performance reviews. KPI Management: Montior key performance indicators for warehouse operations Operational Oversight: Plan and coordinate daily warehouse & logistics tasks, including Goods In/Out, stock movement, and material handling, to meet deadlines and quality standards. Health & Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations and ensuring all equipment and machinery are operated correctly. Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment and MHE (Material Handling Equipment). Reporting: Provide regular updates on operational performance, including KPI tracking, productivity metrics, and stock management, to senior management. The Person: Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role. Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Analytical Skills: Experience in monitoring and managing KPIs to meet operational targets and improve performance. Technical Proficiency: Confident in learning and using IT systems, processes, and machinery to support warehouse operations.
