Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Scientific clients' growing Facilities team as a Facilities Support Services Coordinator. Working in a small, friendly team the role is interesting and varied, with responsibility for coordinating maintenance and repair services for laboratories across multiple sites.

This is initially a temporary position, but will likely go permanent for the right person in 2025.

The key duties of the Facilities Coordinator role involve:

  • Communication with a range of external contractors to organise works and track performance
  • Liaising with internal teams including maintenance, health and safety and a range of Laboratory Managers in order to effectively perform the role
  • Managing a lot of administrative work including various bits of paperwork surrounding the completion of maintenance and repair work across the laboratories
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Excel, using spreadsheets to manage planned and reactive maintenance, inspections etc.


The ideal person will be a quick learner, interested in working facilities and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, supported by a small friendly team. Although a specific background in facilities is not completely necessary, experience in dealing with contractors and working with scheduling would be highly advantageous.

This role is based on-site in OX4, working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Mon-Fri.
